Add toggle option to the keymap editor

In order to have fewer key combinations locked to predefined shortcut keys, a user-friendly way to add toggle option to the existing keymaps could look like this: Image

This plus sticky keys would make the keymap system a little bit less painful, yeah.

* @TheRedWaxPolice * With sticky keys we don't even need the toggle, really.

Blender development is funny. lol

I agree. There are many functions that have only two states. It would be ideal to bind them to one key which works as a toggle.

I agree too. But see the "select all" key [A] allready has an toggle option in the preferences part of the Keymap panel. See the [Z] too, witch switches between the Wireframe Viewport Shading and back again to the previous shading mode. But - as you sayed- there are some more good places to integrate toggeling instead of two assigned keys.

check out "wm.tool_set_by_id" it has a boolean called "Cycle" that does what you're describing. It's the thing that lets you toggle Scale Gizmo or Scale Cage with just the one key.
