Pinning a Properties Window should keep the pre pinned state intact

For example, when pinning an object with shape keys on it like here:

the Window collapses as seen here:

But the Shapekeys i originally wanted to work on disappear. From the overall pinning behaviour i am gessing shapekeys dont count as purely data which is why we have to pin the orange object properties first and only then the shapekeys appear again in the data tab

Which is a behaviour i find very confusing from a users perpective.

I understand how the pinning right now is grouped in it's "we belong together" kind of thing. But i think a " what you see is what you get" approach would be way less confusing
