Creating New Collection can also add with selected objects
In the outliner, when any objects are preselected and then proceed to right click to create a new collection, it be nice to automatically pool these selected objects into it as well. I often find myself doing this assuming it is a natural behavior, but it doesn't.

I won't submit a new idea, because I think my idea is very related to this one. But here it goes...
In the Outliner: How about if we could use a shortcut (like Ctrl+Shift+C), with one (or more) item selected, to create a collection right where the item is in the Outliner hierarchy and move it inside it, already naming the collection after the item itself, or after the first selected item if there are multiple, and of course enabling name editing as usual when creating collections. What do you think?
I made an addon some time ago that can do what you want. But I also thin kit should be implemented by default in Blender ;) blendermarket.com/products/collection-tools---early-bird
Can't you press M and then create the new collection from there? That moves the objects to it automatically
