any +NEW COLLECTION default location placed -> where it was created. Pls don't move it above.
I think, it will more intuitive at first. It will like usual working with folders in any application. And another one argument is when you have huge list of collections and objects - this approach will more simple and controlable. Just 'collapse' some object[in collection] inside current collections location, and then move it anywhere you whant (it handly), because your cursor right here at this moment and you no need to spend time to find new one collection again inside list. But what if no need to move them created subcollaction at all? And need just creates sub-collection? More effective scheme imho is like usual 'folders' - where it was created.
Because when you did new sub-collection and need to go to search it in the list [usual list not small] - to move right the same place where it was created looks weird. Because you need to do a lot 'movement's' to find it and return to the place. But vise versa [as i propose] more effective leave it where it was and spent less energy to relocate it in new place just by holding. Hope you consider it from this point and find as reasonable. :)

Actually, the "New collection" button (I didn't realize it was there) is doing what it says on the tool tip. In your example Scene Collection was selected, and so the new collection was added to it. If you had selected Collection A first, Collection B would have been where you desired.
Alternatively, right click on any collection and select "New" from pop-up. Will add collection inside one clicked upon.
I think your confusion may have been over object selection vs collection selection. Look for the highlight circle (grey) behind the collection icon as opposed to the object selected (yellow).
* @ian.finnimore * Thanks, I din't know that. Alternative way is closer to what I think, so I will try use it :)
* @ian.finnimore * So is this already done? Should it be marked as "rejected"?
* @Josephbburg * Either "rejected" or "done", whichever is normal practice. What they were looking for is already there.
* @Josephbburg * Decide to try at first on practice[but it need som time]... but yeah, I will reject it. If in future will feel that it need again, I will post it. To don't mislead at current moment :)
