Developers Youtube channel
Would be great to have a youtube channel specific to core blender developers where those working on code could show others through the code, and how/where to add functionality. This would likely greatly increase the number of people interested in furthering the development of blender. Whenever a developer adds new functionality, he/she could do a 30 min walk through to show what they did as well as challenges that occurred along the way.

Technically there is a Blender Developers channel on YouTube . Unfortunately the Blender Developers rarely post to it, and if they do it is just to make an announcement.
It would be really interesting to learn more about the code, and the development processes from the behind the scenes more often.
I have learned a lot from Jayanam who develops add-ons for Blender and shows both the features and the thought behind code in their videos.
