Camera to be facing forward by default over view angle
I feel that it is very inconsistent.
When we add objects to our scene, by default they face a certain way using the world's rotation not the view's. This should be applied to the Camera by default as well.
By default, you are left with scrambled rotations that are annoying to tweak later unless you go into orthographic view first to avoid a future headache which is very inconvenient.
My proposal is to add cameras facing forwards by default, and adding a checkbox to allow them to use the view as a rotation.

Well, to be honest I think I barely ever made any camera shot on an axe (maybe two or three in the last four years), it's almost always a little bit shifted, either because the subject isn't in line, or just because i tend to compose my pictures in other ways. To be a 3/4 shot as default shot makes total sense and I would find weird if it was facing that default cube straight ahead.
* @-L0Lock- * My main point for this proposal is that it gets quite annoying to edit after the fact, not that I want to shoot something completely straight looking forward.
It is a lot easier to start from a solid ground (90,0,0) than a (89.8,1.532,3.56) in my opinion.
Not disagreeing, but how difficult is it to press <kbd>Alt</kbd>+<kbd>R</kbd> after adding a camera?
* @Jason van Gumster * Its a quality of life change suggestion. Now instead of spawning it forward by default which is in my opinion the most useful, it is ALT + R + R + X + 90
You get my point, right? Its not difficult per se but it has needless steps in my opinion and it is not very beginner friendly.
* @MizManFryingP * It depends. A lot of beginning users may want to add a camera to view the scene from the angle that they're currently using. In that case, the default behavior makes perfect sense (albeit, inconsistent with all other add operators).
I like your proposal, but I'd suggest that the current behavior remain the default.
* @Jason van Gumster * Since the camera always spawns at 0,0,0, wouldn't it make more sense to add the camera's location to the view as well then? Maybe I'm just missing something obvious haha
* @MizManFryingP * Camera should spawn at the 3D cursor; not 0,0,0.
* @Jason van Gumster * Yeah that's what I meant. I usually just leave it at 0,0,0 when spawning new objects as do most other people afaik. Unless of course its a screw or something that you want to spawn onto a certain part of a car, etc but that's a different topic.
* @Jason van Gumster * I think the inconsistency comes from placing the camera at the 3D cursor combined with the perspective view rotation. I think, either it should be placed at the cursor with 90,0,0 OR it should be completely replicate the current perspective view position & rotation (second option is more useful, imo)
Both should be possible, it should really be like this add-on does, adding options to add a default camera and a camera from the current view: blendernation.com/2019/09/02/add-camera-to-view-addons-tutorial/
