3D Slicer-esc workspace in blender?

In this workspace, the user will be able to move forwards & backwards & diagonally in the orthographical view + turn view left, right(same way you do with the little X Y Z spin wheel in the upper right corner of the 3D Viewport) like how you can move right and left. However, this feature would serve to be able to see things that are not normally visible to the user, i.e. the inside of a 3D model. You'd also be able to save, highlight & snap to coordinates. Also, vertices added, will be added directly to the viewport's view coords, hopefully that makes any sense.

P.S. Currently, I don't expect this to become its own separate workspace, should something resembling this ever come to blender, but I really don't know for certain.

P.S.S. Both are already doable, BUT there should be faster methods than having to create a camera & place the cursor manually to said camera's far pane(which is different from snapping to the center of the camera, cause that snaps the cursor to the tip of the pyramid-shape camera, not the center of the base of the pyramid, which in this case, is the rectangle you view out of, which I believe the camera also goes by the technical name, frustrum or something).

P.S.S.S. Yes, this will be like a CT scanner, there are several more ideas I have for this, like having a front-back radius that you can manually change via something, but I believe I am biting more than I can chew just trying to describe it all at once.

Workspaces in Blender are basically just a preset of UI layout. Anyone can make one, share it to the community - typically on blenderartists.org - and get feedback. If that's a successful workspace the community shows interest in, then it has more chances to get the developers attention.

But unless I misunderstand things, your proposal seems to require developing new features that don't exist yet?

Thanks for the reply! To your question, yes, some new things. I'm hoping that they can just be added options to do pre-existing things easier. I also neglicted to mention that I'd like to have this stuff be toggleable via side panels and other submenus/text boxes & other things I don't know the UI terminology for. This would be a pose to what I've done in the past in presenting the idea, i.e. animating & modifying & rotating single cameras manually with their clip start & end being altered & what not in order to only focus on a single slice of a model. I also then go to duplicate all the camera's off of that one single camera in order to rotate them for a different view of the model, i.e. front, left, top, 3/4, 3/4 between 3/4 & top view front/left/3/4... yeah its quite complex setting up the cameras required to have a good CT-scan-esc view of things from numerous angles at short notice in blender currently(according to my current knowledge).
