Pause/Restart Rendering from previous, and denoise at force stop
Here's my suggestion for four nice-to-have features on cycles:
-an option to stop/pause the rendering and restart it without restarting from zero.
-an option that allows to calculate the denoiser also if I force stop the rendering before it finishes,
-an option to calculate the denoiser every certain number of samples (for example every 10 samples I see a preview of the denoised rendering while it keeps calculating, and I can choose to pause and save it as it is or let it run and improve over time).
-a rendering progress bar on the rendering windows (the one on the Blender interface is always hidden and not really user friendly)
Thanks for reading, Riccardo

You can already restart at any frame you like.
I don't think he's asking to restart from the last frame, but from the last sample. With heavy scenes that take hours to render, that can be a big deal.
Exactly, AgentA1cr got my request
It has been requested many times too :
blender.community/c/rightclickselect/
Imagine if all the votes and discussions were in one spearhead post instead of scattered in a dozen posts of variable quality 🥲
I wish this website allowed combining similar requests and community editing
You don't make it easy by posting several proposals in one. Discussions are harder, votes become useless, and overally it leads to lots of clutter.
You can start and stop any time you want, and it starts from any frame you ask it to.
If you render into frames and disabled file overwriting, it will automatically know which frame to start from.
I'm pretty sure the rest has been requested already. At least, I'm sure there have been many proposals about render progress UI and I think also denoising utils.
I apologize, I thought compacting multiple related ideas in one reduced the spam, but you are totally right, next time I will split it in multiple parts, about the restart stop, I meant start stop at the last sample and restart at the next one, not at the last frame, this is useful when you have a huge scene to render and you want to pause it and restart whenever you want without loosing the samples already calculated
