Circle tool dont select geometry until the origin is inside the Circle
Just like box select why the circle select don't select geometry by just clicking anywhere on the object instead of origin becoz sometime the origin is located far away from geometry, in that case it is impossible to select the object even if the whole object is inside box selection boundary, even lasso selection is also having same issue.

Circle select is basically unusable in object mode as it is now. I want to "paint select" but since only the origins count half of the objects don't get selected
Yeah, i wonder this as well. On blender dev i see issue but its was eplied by, "as intended". I dont get this, most times i find this counter intuitive
