ha i just wrote my own utility python script to do this the other day, so the need is real.
i discovered there's also a search filter in the outliner that allows you to see just the objects you've hidden in the viewport, which can be helpful for these situations, although its kinda buried, and lacking an equivalent filter for renderability.
might be a nice feature to add to this add-on - a little ui list that lets you filter these sorts of offenders to decide how to manage them!
