Improving blender 2.90 even better

To render the measurements, try the MeasureIt add-on (bundled with Blender). It is generating a render of the measurements which you can either save as png and put over your image or compositing it directly in Blender to match the render of your rooms.

Hello * @badrahmed34 *,

I could understand some of the issues you are facing. I have few suggestions you could try.

  1. Regarding the limit of 128 lights in EEVEE, you could try using mesh lights wherever you could. There are no limitations on the number of mesh lights you could use in a scene. I could notice a few strip lights hidden in the ceiling that could be mesh lights and even the circular lights in the ceiling could be mesh lights. But, this also means you have to bake the indirect lighting using irradiance probes. But I don't think it's a problem since the scenes are pretty basic. So, try using mesh lights as much as you can and use real lights only when you need to.

  2. Regarding the issue of not being able to render out your dimensions, you could try the Add Curve: Dimension addon. This lets you add real geometry as a dimension annotation to your scene that can be rendered. By the way, this addon is bundled with 2.90 builds and is in the testing section of addons. I don't believe this comes with blender 2.83. You can hide or unhide whichever dimension you need as you like.

I think the limit of 128 lights (and also the texture limit) will be gone by the time we switch to Vulkan. But I am not entirely sure.

But, the problem of importing or exporting dimensions, I don't think it will be added anytime soon, because the devs have a lot of other priorities and blender isn't primarily intended for such use.

You can find the Blender 2.9 roadmap here -- developer.blender.org/project/view/110/

By the way, great work on the model! It looks very detailed. Maybe if you could share a video on how you go through building the model, that would be great.

* @Salai Vedha Viradhan * hi there , thanks for these great suggestions , i tried using mesh light , and baking it using light probe , it can work on some areas , but not all , espically the ceiling .

And using dimensions as curves can work yes , but the amount of work to export 1 image for 1 wall , is very exhausting .

Yah the blender guys are realy awesome , hoping they can take a look at this :)
