If Blender Artist paid the same as Maya Artist

Today I received an email from Autodesk suggesting the monthly cost for renting Maya
(wooo so not excited, but i took a peak anyways)autodesk.com/products/maya/subscribe

OK OK OK OK so it got me thinking and this is completely selfishIf just 25 000 people (that's just the google plus community) for 3 months
would pay the maya monthlly fee for 3 months it would be more than enough to hire a crap load of devs for one year.

AaaaAAAAaaaaaaand lift blender completely out of the trenches with in six months

<strong>Forget open movies just one year solid devs</strong>

Devs would have to reach milestones and give them the same pressure as artist during an open project. And instead of an open movie we would have an <strong>Open Education. </strong>Ok let me say that again.                                        <strong>OPEN EDUCATION</strong>

This means that the devs would have documentaries about how they code and what they are coding.

Devs would teach the community which means after one years we potentially could have around 10 000+ more coders of blender. I am not saying it will be easy but i am pretty sure a lot of universities around the world would love to participate in this and could offer some financial aid as well.                   <strong>7 Million dollars pays for 75 to 90 coders for one year </strong>

aaaaaAAAAaaaaand then add on the 10 000+ coder after one year and well the rest would be history. Soooo you can see where I am going with this 75 to 90 coders working on blender and after a year the world won't even be talking about maya every again.                     Personally I would be very happy.

Well people may say something like,
<strong>Person A</strong>, "aaaaahhhhh do you remember that software that everyone hated, what was the name of it again?" <strong>Person B</strong>, "we dare not speak its name  <strong><em>"Voldemort"</em></strong> I mean <em>"Maya"</em>".

JuuuuuuuUUUUUuuuuuust an idea; but i would reeeeeeeeallyeeee to see it happen.

Say NoO! to an "open movie"     and  <strong>YES </strong>to an <strong>Open Education</strong> and change the world.

<strong>Movies entertain people </strong>- <strong>but an Education gives people a future.</strong>

GoooOOOOooo blender devs gooooooooooo you're amazing<em> (you're my heroes really truly)</em>
