Hi Pablo - greetings from Australia! At the moment in Blender when we want to change a parameter to multiple objects, like for example the scale , we have to use "apply single to selected" or "apply all to selected" in order to change that parameter to all the selected objects. Why this is different from all the other 3d softwares? what are the benefits and will Blender ever change this workflow in the future? Thank you! PS Do you think at some point you could stream "blender today" in the morning/afternoon for people that live in Australia 😃 🇦🇺

Hi Pablo, How are you doing? Big fan of the show <3
Question - I am so looking forward to Grease Pencil - Bezier stroke type -
developer.blender.org/T85754
. But, looks like work is paused. Do you know whats the plan ? Any plan to include this in 3.0 ?
Thanks for the awesome updates :)

I have talked to the developer Falk, David that was working on the project, and he said he no longer works for Blender. So unfortunately there won't be any progress regarding this project (from him at least ).

Hey :) The project is till ongoing, but development is a bit slower since I switched jobs. I have done some work together with Hans to solidify the core of the curve code.

This is true, but I still am planning to work on it whenever I have some free time.

Hello Pablo, how are you?
I was wondering where is Sybren? I have been tracking some animations branches in
developer.blender.org/p/sybren/
and I haven't seen any activities from him at all since then 12th of August.

Hey Pablo:)
Any updates in retopology? A retopology mode would really great and improve blenders workflow a lot. I feel like some basic steps should have started by now

Hi Pablo.
Know of any plans to add a control to allow us to dissolve objects in Blender? As in create a transparency that can be animated? I don't mean for the material but for the object itself.

Hi mate, I have the same problem with Blender Workflow xD Dissolving one object isn't much problem, but I guess not many blender developers tried to make animation where there are hundreds of object with animated opacity... Specialy if the objects share same materials, that maybe we would like to change in the future.
My workaround though, maybe it will be helpfull:
create property in Properties editor/object tab, call it "ObjectName.Opacity"
create material for the object, make group of the nodes that defines look of the material (don't group the Material Output node) with only one input value to the group (by default making group will add all of its inside values as inputs, but leave only alpha connected as input), call it "Opacity" and connect to the alpha input in shader
in main shader (outside of the group) create node "Input value", add driver to the value of it, use object property "ObjectName.Opacity" via Right Click on "ObjectName.Opacity" value field and copying full data path, and pasting it into Expression text field in Driver Editor, it has to be "Simple Prioperty" type of driver
Do the same for other materials (make groups if you are going to change later 'global' setting for let's say METAL, add input value node in material, add driver to it referencing the same "ObjactName.Opacity" every time.
What you will get?
One property that controls opacity of all of the materials of the object - simple to animate from now on
The ability to add/change nodes and textures in shared group in material (because if you don't do this, and you will have many "metal" materials due to the number of animated objects it will be very tidious work to do to change every single material, only to change texture or something like that.

Hello Pablo! Didn't manage to get read last week, trying this time.
I'd like to propose the idea of having pre-selection highlighting in Blender just for loop and ring selection: I know that pre-selection highlight is considered an anti-feature, but I think that there are specific types of selection, like loop selection, that would really benefit from having visualized what's gonna be selected before actually doing it. It happened soooo many times to me that selecting a loop took multiple try-outs because the wrong loop was selected. While I don't want to mess with the core decisions of Blender design, I think that pre-selection has its good reasons to exists for some cases, and at least for loop and ring selection I think we really need to avoid the time wasted to click multiple times just to get the right ones. Plus, jumping in the 3.0 era could be a good time for breaking old Blender habits, as 2.8 broke right-click selection as default ;)
Thanks for your tim

Hi @PabloVazquez. How do we add a cube by a corner using the bottom add cube icon and then zoom and rotate when drawing it? I want to zoom, pan or rotate before the final point is added. A feature request. This will make drawing in 3D really nice. Just now it is difficult to see which way the cube is being extruded at times.
It would also be great it we can type a direction and move the mouse but positive values can go in both ways.

Did you try using the add object tool? it permits you to do exactly that plus deciding before where the origin point will be.

Hello Pablo, as you know probably all to well there has been a demand in the return of the blender reels. I myself have also wished this so I decided to take things into my own hands and start a devtalk thread
here is the link

so if anyone asks about them (cause that has happened a few times now) you can redirect them here.

Hi @PabloVazquez_ , 1) Have you ever tried a self portrait with Blender ? 2) Before we could see multiple keyframes 3D objects at the same time with ghosts. Do you know how to do nowadays ?

Hi Pablo, I have question - is there a plan to have preview of strip directly in the strip alone in VSE?
Hi Pablo. There are many themes: devtalk.blender.org/t/call-for-content-themes/3174 and matcaps: devtalk.blender.org/t/call-for-content-matcaps-source-file/9258/63 that the community has made. Are they being considered for implementation in Blender or are they just user-generated creativity?
sorry for burdening you I'm sorry.
how much Blender makes from YouTube?
