Hello, Pablo! You is the best!
I'v heared that another Pablo quit from Blender development. So I have questions
What is future of sculpting tools which don't managed to go to master: array brush, new vertex painting and others. Will they became abandoned ? Or is there any realistic plan to integrate them into Blender?
2)What will happened to sculpting module? Will it become abandoned for many years? (please don't say that sculpting is already so good that developers should work on another parts of Blender)

Hello Pablo, I missed you. Hope you missed me, too!
What happened to Pablo Dobarro and what leads to him leaving the Blender Foundation? He was such a good prototyper for the sculpting branch and it's hard to see a bright future for the sculpting branch. And I hope it won't inspire talented gods such as Brecht, Julian and Jackes Lucke to leave the Blender Foundation and making Ton Rosendaal very, very sad.

Will RIGIFY armatures be supported (with drivers) in the Browser Asset? Sharing predefined rigs would be so awesome!

Hey Pablo,
what is the plan for your wonderful Node Editor Design Ideas? It would be sooo wonderful if we could have that design in Blender.
And do we have a chance to get some news on Vulkan in the near future?
I have also an Idea for RightClickSelect UI. What if the Lamp Icon in front of every post would change its color when the post is very "hot". As an example: a post is very badly received. Then the lamp icon maybe gray. And if it is rated very well, the icon is red ore even has little fire on it?
Wish you a wonderfull Week

Hey Pablo, hope your having a great day :)
I was wondering if it is possible with geometry nodes to take a displacement texture and rotate its effect around an object ? to get around the directional limitations of the displacement modifier where you can only select a displacement direction along an axis or by normals etc ?

I'm sure others are asking about Pablo Dobarro leaving so I'll skip that one but was wondering also about Daniel Bystedt... I thought I had read that he was going to be working on the modeling in Blender but we haven't seen much new in the modeling department lately (I mean in the regular modeling tools not geometry nodes), was just wondering if that's still the case.

Hey Pablo,
*Thanks for all the developments. No feature requests. So many users from the other 2 software are switching to Blender. This is a golden moment for Blender. Can’t wait for the future. Any approx date when the particle nodes might become available to try, just an experimental branch?
*Also, can’t help but think, what is more important for ‘Blender Foundation’, adding more and more features or fixing and polishing already existing features? IMO both should be priorities but in reality, one gets done more than the other. For example: Blender gets more features in one update than 5 updates of other software but on the other hand, an FBX file with over 300 rigged characters.
Industry-standard: 19 gigs of ram usage, playback at 14-16 FPS, not cached.
Same file in Blender: 40 gigs of ram usage, playback at 2.44 FPS. Shaded: 0.44 fps.
I think this is what people meant when they asked if the ‘BF’ is interested in VFX as well because handling a large amount of data is probably the biggest priority in VFX studios. Will this ever get addressed and fixed? Because it’s quite frustrating to have all the cutting-edge features in Blender but the moment there are large-ish amount of polygons/simulation in viewport (static/animation) Blender just chokes and crashes, it’s very depressing. (But Blender being a generalist software, it might be unfair to compare Blender with a sculpting or simulation software, that’s why the comparison was about something as basic as animation playback, viewport performance, and RAM management with the industry-standard generalist software). I love Blender and the community but sometimes these performance-related problems make me want to jump off a bridge. That’s it.

Hi Pablo. Will there be a way do bake XYZ displacement from multires modifier? So far there's an option to bake heightmap, but I don't see a reason why XYZ displacement baking wouldn't work

Hi Pablo. Blender 3.0 was postponed to December 3 due to 3December?
Will Sprite Fright be released on the same day Blender 3.0 is released or sooner?
I also wanted to know how patches are added to the master. For example, this patch has been in existence since February:

Hello, Pablo! I have a little question about Geometry Nodes. Then we can expect support From Instanser UV option in instances generated by GN?
I think it looks really nice and I would love to buy some stylish blender gear. The current wear is a bit... boring? ...Let's say it could be better.
Is there any place where such ideas are collected or maybe even voted on to see if the design could even be sold.
Last time you noticed the code quest badge. To be honest, I was just in for the shirt and the rocket-USB stick. That's a much nicer way to support blender with money in my opinion.
Regarding donations:
Was, is or will there be a focus on making donations to blender tax deductable? I think in my country there could be a sneaky way around a fuzzy 'not really', but it would be the in the line of 'education for adults' and you would need the ministry of finance to play along.
Is the discussion regarding blender versioning still alive?
In the past I heard some people write about the new versioning of blender and that they wish it would not advance with 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 etc.
To be honest, I also kinda like the idea that every LTS ends with something-point-3. So 3.03, 3.13, etc.
Using Linux (not so serious question):
You said that you used a system with PopOS for the streams in the past. Wouldn't it be much better for these streams to run on a system with Ubuntu MATE while drinking mate? ^^
Thanks for the stream and have a great week!

Hola Pablo, hope you are having a great day!
I would like your opinion about something.
When you open the preferences window, the window pops where the cursor is (you can see the behaviour better if you call the menu by pressing f4 and calling the preferences from there), but I think that would be better if the window could "remember" the last position where it was before getting close, so when you open it again, it would pop where it was and not under the cursor.
Cheers.

Hi Pablo, I hope you and everyone watching are well (anyone else, forget about them :))
For the past couple of weeks I've been working on a project which requires basic physics (simple collisions etc). I've found that the simulation system only seems to take into account the initial position of other objects in the scene, so if you drop a cloth on a rbd driven cube, the cloth will collide with the oriignal poisition of the cube rather than where it's at.
This also means that if a cloth sim deforms a cylinder for example, and the cyclinder hits a rbd driven stack of cubes, the cubes react to the non deformed version of the cylinder, unlike blender 2.79b shown below:
So my question is, what do you guys do in the Studio when you need to have a rbd sim react to deforming cloth, or other situations where the current simulation needs to take into consideration the current frame's scene state?

Hola Pablo!
Do you think the UI module will have a new "Head" soon? From what I've understood having this module headless slows a bit the process of developing and accepting new patches/features (Hans mentioned this in the comments of this future lifesaver
developer.blender.org/D7946
), and I think it should be important to find someone to guide the whole module and have, if it can be called like this, a vision for it. Are there any people already working for Blender who could suit this or does Blender need to find someone outside?

Do you know if there are any plans to get mipmapping in Blender on the view port and both renderers? If you don't, can you please and Brecht and come back to us next week?
