Import more images at once

Currently, in Blender 2.8 you can't pick more than one image and import it to the shader editor. And I think it would be really useful especially if you are working with a large number of textures. What do you think?

With the node wrangler addon enabled you can import multiple images

Granted, it's not in the shader editor, but you can import as many images as you want in the UV/Image editor, and just cycle through them in your image texture input node. Drag and drop into the shader editor only works with one at a time sadly.

But I see what you mean, I guess you'd want a texture node to be created for all of them in one go. That could be handy, maybe we get some improvements on that end as well with UDIMs and such. I really wish blender had a more flexible drag and drop functionality, not just for images, but all kinds of things, obj's, alembics, etc.

* @3dddan * I think a lot of development is needed too. and in compositing part too. and node wrangler is adding cool features but to many useless shortcuts. and I changed shortcuts by default because in 2.8 for me this is not good. but now this is quite impossible to have coherent shortcuts. to messy. e.g ctrl+space was a bad choice...not coherent with node wrangler and with other aeras such text editor...I still do ctrl up. left clic on nothing is not deselecting because now I can move nodes as object in 3Dview...(G is so old shool and they pretend to do more modern...) and right clic is doing A (toggle on) and right clic drag border select...and I have this everywhere...so fast
