I cannot select anything in the viewport, only in the outliner.

Has anybody come across - in the latest builds - not being able to select models previously made in earlier iterations of Blender 2.80? I seem to only be able to select older made objects in the outliner which is fine BUT i have a model with 12000 chairs and it took me ages.

Am i missing a setting or something?
