v5 is a big one: faster, more stable, and a lot more powerful.

⚡ Rebuilt on a Rust engine

All the heavy math (layout, kerning, transforms, cascade, baking) now runs natively and multithreaded → up to ~60× faster text creation and true real-time editing. The old Sync step is gone, you simply don't need it anymore.

• Scramble — decode / shuffle glyph randomization (terminal style)

• Audio React — drive your animation from a sound file

• Counter — animated numbers: Number, Percent, Time, Currency, Metric

• Visibility cursor — typewriter / terminal cursor following the reveal

• Cascade overhaul — per-channel base unit (char / word / line), falloff shapes & step count

• Motion array — new ordering modes: Directional, From Center / Edges, Reverse, Grid 2D

• Creation options — create at 3D cursor, start at current frame, deduplicate glyphs

🛟 Stability

A major stabilization pass, with a strong focus on the Subtitles workflow. If it burned you before, give it another try — it's genuinely worth it now. The addon also warns you when a text isn't baked, so no surprises at render time.
