(Free) Bforartists 2.0 solves the need for more accessible tools by promoting the usefulness of the toolbar

All artists have different kind of preferences but I believe it is almost undeniable that there will come a time when optimized workflow speed is very needed as an option. Drop down menus can add some more additional steps, quick favorites and hotkeys can only go a long way in some cases and the only practical solution is to make all the important buttons be instantly available in just a matter of one mouse hover and click, one of the solution is the toolbar. That could probably be the reason why almost all major industry standard 3d softwares make it an option for users to fill the whole viewport with buttons and instantly aceesible tool settings.

Blender's workflow is already powerful and having this options that the bforartists offer can add another additional flexibility when it comes to workflow preferences.

are these guys in touch with the Blender UI team? Wouldn't it make more sense to collaborate and work on one thing instead of two? some things look good (I like the buttons on top where the camera is, could be useful space for custom things) but the bar below is unnecessary and steals the space for your viewport

* @pipeliner * I believe it is customizable. I just recently discovered this version of blender. I am not sure how things work between them and the official blender team. But what I appreciate is the diversity of ideas and preferences being offered by having another version of blender UI as an option.

The official blender UI is already great but there might be some additional improvements that could be made with the workflow and Ui preferences. It is commonly between "workflow over UI neatness" and the other way around. Blender's UI is slightly bound to hotkeys, drop down menus and minamally hiden settings. Even the pros who are already familiar with the hotkeys and the ins and outs of the settings, these honed familiarity skills at the highest level can only go a long way, worklow wise and there would be a time when the traditional workflow might be the one causing or adding some of the bottlenecks. I remain positive when it comes to blender's chosen UI workflow but It would be a game changer if they could include in their list the optional features regarding the UI and workflow implementations.
