* Blender 2.74 is out *
After 4 release candidates it's finally done! We're live with Blender 2.74!<h2>Features</h2>This time, many awesome features made it into the release:
- Ambient Occlusion and Depth of Field in the viewport
- An Orphaned Data-blocks Mode for data-block management
- Massively improved hair dynamics and editing tools
- A new painting tool "Cavity Mask"
- A new "pointiness" feature in the geometry node
- New editing tools like copy & paste strokes, duplicating active layer for the grease pencil
- The Node Editor can now show text-blocks (for notes) in frames
