I can't understand the principle of calculating measurements

Hey! There is a line, 1 meter high, which is divided by 40 points into segments. The table displays the position of each point. If I have a height of 1 meter, which is divided by 40 points, then I should see the location according to the formula 100cm / 40 = 2.5. those. the first point should have a position of 2.5, the second 5, and so on. why are points positions displayed incorrectly? a4dde712-1b5d-436d-8aba-f6d04bf0c0a7.jfif 35f8d16f-9d90-48b7-8836-8fb71e6afc0f.jfif

Maybe set the offset in the Mesh Line to 2.5cm, and not 1m as it is now. I believe that's the offset between each of the 40 vertices. You should also set the vert count to 41 then, because you need the ”zeroth" vertex, from which to start the offsets. Or as muhuk pointed out, you can keep the 40 vertices, but then the distance split (the offset) needs to be 1.0/39 meters.

Docs say: "Controls the direction of the line and distance between the vertices.", I guess it needs to be set as 1.0/39 to get a line 1m high.
