Hi Pablo. Hope you had a wonderful end of year and happy new year.

Can I ask some productivity/accessibility questions about making it easier to draw curves? Can the add curve tool (add > curve > bezier) be changed so it doesn't just get dropped onto the stage? If we want to draw a curve wouldn't it be better to be able to click and draw it where we want it point by point? Similar to Illustrator, Inkscape, AutoCad or SketchUp. Is there a reason why Blender just drops a curve in the middle of the screen? Maybe a shift click would be nicer to just drop in a curve and if we click add > curve > bezier shouldn't it allow us to draw in a curve point by point? That would be quicker than editing the points after a random curve is dropped in, right? Hope this suggestion/bunch of ideas helps make Blender more user friendly.

There is an addon for this: github.com/Shriinivas/blenderbezierutils

It gives you Flexi Draw Bezier - a utility for drawing curves in Object mode.

Hi Pablo! Happy New year! Is there any word on when Geometry Nodes will save UV maps appropriately when the modifier is applied instead of as an attribute? Right now, it seems the only way to get that information from Blender into another program like Unreal is to manually apply each modifier and manually convert the Attribute into a UV map

Hi Pablo, good to start the new year with Blender Today :)

The roadmap looks good but I'm disappointed that texturing didn't make the cut. It was supposed to be for Charge, but now I'm concerned it will keep getting put off. I think there is a preference or bias towards procedural materials and stylized art within the Studio - which is fine, but the problem is the texture system is much farther behind than any of the other projects that have been prioritized above it. Photorealism is the other half of the art coin and I'm concerned that it continues to get de-prioritized.

Oi, Pablo! 3 weeks, 3 questions! (short, I assure you!)

How are HIP-RT and oneAPI doing, or do blender devs have anything to do with development, or is it totally on AMD's side? I'm tired of Nvidia being able to justify terrible prices just because of program support technicalities.

actions and baked animations are a bit confusing. I'm getting into them, but I can't easily tell what actions exist, or what exactly an "action" counts as... Is there going to be any development toward making these (and general) kinds of data blocks browsable or easier to see the properties and data of?

How was your holiday?!~

Hi Pablo, welcome back! Light tree is a nice feature, but what about the long awaited light linking feature, any idea?

Hola Pablo. Happy new year as well. Do you do building designs in Blender? Measure out things? Is there an easy way to to draw plans in Blender? How do we get just 2D tools with dimensions? Sorry if this is a basic thing. I'm a bit lost.

there's a ruler tool, you can set blender units to real units, and you can set it to 2d viewport!

Hi Pablo, hope you had a great time at Home! Odd question, is there any web api to get the current Blender version/download link?
