Collisions vs rigid body physics? Whats the difference? (Slightly new to physics)
Hello guys. I would like to ask what are the difference between collion and rigid body physics?
Is the collision physics meant specifically for sofy body and fluid simulations?
I am slightly confused with it, though I have not quite watched more tutorials or experimented of it yet, I hope I would get some basic idea what are the significant difference.
Thank you.

Collision modifier is a way to define what object is collidable and to set a few parameters on how a thing that collides with it should act when interacted.
Rigid body physics is just one of the multiple physics simulation types
