Blender 2.81 EEVEE Shadows became worse
Hi Guys, Since the DEV Team changed some settings in the per Light Attribute the Shadow Quality went from great to bad by default. I got loads of jagged lines in it so to speak, other than that there is no Softness Parameter for Contact Shadows anymore :( . Maybe someone can light up this just a little. PS: Scene isn't shareable because of NDA. Cheers

Just curious - Why are you doing NDA work on Beta software?
ok, so that means that Blender Guru's Interior Lightning became obsolete by those changes and @Anthony thank you for the link you provided me. Although I am not happy with it, my Project was build for NON Photorealism i only needed to blur the Contact shadow just a little. How can i do that, whilest there is no Softness Parameter?
First things first, TWOEIGHTYONE is in Alpha State :) And Secondly i could rapidly go back and copy paste my models to Blender 2.8 official without the lose of data.
Put the shadow cube size to 4096px, you can only see the jaggies if really close to the shadows, performance on that size is way better then the older methods in case your wondering.

In theory, you should be able to correct the difference by adjusting the Shadow/Map resolution. See the notes I linked. If this doesn't help, you might want to submit a bug on it.
Good luck.
