Blender Media Viewer

Hi!

I'm currently looking for a media/video player for Linux that supports frame stepping, annotation etc and the Blender Media Viewer would be absolutely perfect!

Here's a blog post from a while ago - studio.blender.org/blog/media-viewer-by-blender-studio/

The download links in blog post are all dead.

Does anyone know what is happening with this, and if the media viewer is available anywhere?

Thanks!

Had to do a little searching, but it's part of the Studio pipeline repo.

Awesome, thanks Jrvy!

So it seems that it adds functionality to blender itself rather than opening as a standalone app.

I was more hoping that it would be a self encapsulated app that could open and display media from the desktop file browser.

Blender itself already has similar functionality in it's Video Editor Workspace though so not what I was hoping for.

But good to know! Maybe it'll soon be standalone which would be very powerful!
