MeasureIt-ARCH Architectural Drawing Tools Version 0.3 Update
Hey all!
I've just released an update for MeasureIt-ARCH the Dimensioning tool-set I've been developing for Blender 2.8 (Based off of Antonio Vasquez's MeasureIt addon)
Here's the Github release
and a youtube video describing the updates:
The version 0.3 brings a lot of stability improvements, and introduces:
- A new User Interface
- Single Axis Dimensions
- Linework selection highlighting
- Improved Animation Rendering
- Improved Modifier Support
- Collection Instancing Support
- and Endcap variations for Annotations
It's still in development so if you spot any bugs or have any feedback let met know!

Hi, this is a very useful addon, but I wonder if there's a way to improve render quality. At the moment there's a some flickering and the text box has this stroke (resolution is set to 1200, which seems to be the highest):
I actually think it looks better in the viewport at the moment.
Hey * @Marcin Twarowski *, thanks for the feedback! I've got a pretty good idea on how to fix the text box issue, I'll give it a shot this afternoon and let you know how it goes! I'll look into the flickering too, where has it been happening most?
* @kevan.cress * I did some more renders today, and now I don't see a difference between render and viewport. I think it looks good, you can disregard my previous comment about flickering.
* @Marcin Twarowski * Glad it worked out, I did manage to reproduce the issues you were having and there's a fix in the latest commit on git-hub so if the issues come back you can give the new version a try.
