Hei Pablo, I hope you have a great day.
My question is:
Way is the N panel text vertical? Can we get an option to draw the text horizontal?

Hi Pablo!
Suggestion: An option to keep the arrow cursor visible while drawing.
When you don't have a physical pen and a display tablet, having something
like an arrow cursor makes it easier to use draw mode in grease pencil.
Thanks for the streams!

Are there plans to expand the Asset Browser's capabilities to include parented meshes and any 'stuff where there is more than one thing in it'? Thanks for all you do, Pablo!

Hello Pablo,
Could namespaces for data blocks be added without too much effort (and also extend the 63 character naming limit)?
These two updates would help studios with their pipelines when dealing with complex scenes, and make blender an easier sell for us pipeline developers / tech directors trying to integrate it into our studios.
Thanks!

Hi pablo,
are there any plans for light linking or light groups inside blender in the near future?
have a good time and thanks a lot to you and blender :)

Hey Pablo! How's your Monday going?
I was reading the realistic human research on the blender studio website and I noticed that the plan is to follow a similar workflow to Chris Jones, liked here: (

)
Since Chris has pretty famously produced photo-realistic renders of human characters for the past decade in Blender, don't you think he would be a valuable asset to the Blender Studio for Project Heist? I'm sure his involvement would help push Blender in a direction that would benefit everyone.

He's only been working the last maybe 4 or 5 years in Blender, not 10.

Hi Pablo,
I'm not sure where is the right place to ask this question but do you know what is the path of providing CV or ideas for the Blender grants?
As I'm the author of 2 Open Source projects regarding real-time GPU simulations. One is Smoke&Fire and second is Liquids and I would love to implement it into blender, however time is the main problem as having a job and university is just too much for fast development.
And about my projects for now the smoke sim is able to simulate and render 450^3 domain in real-time and the liquid sim can do 80,000,000 particles also in about 24fps (sim + meshing + render).
My question is not specific to Blender. How do u handle colorspaces in the short films? I mean the 3d renders should be in filmic, but when u do compositing mixing renders with live action it should be in srgb standard?
Im confused in that, I hope u understand my question.
Thank you!

You should do all compositing in Linear. Renders are automatically linear
before
they get converted to Filmic (if you're using that). sRGB video (really called Rec.709) should be converted to linear before compositing and then the final composite converted to the correct colour space for your display device
Unfortunately there isn't a way to convert Rec.709 video to linear with Blender so you would use a different app to do that first
