Blender support for Intel and Nvidia GPUs on Mac

Hey, I’m using Blender on two Macs with Intel Iris Graphics and Nvidia GeForce GPUs but they appear not to be supported by Blender.

When do you think we will get support for these Mac GPUs? Will it come with Blender 3.1 or not?

Please give some love to us Mac users!! And not only for the newer M1 chips… we’ve been restricted to CPU rendering forever.

Hmm. Do you think it’ll work on my 2015 MacBook Pro (Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB) and 2012 iMac (Nvidia GeForce GT 640M)? In theory it should, since they’re supported by Metal (I’m pretty sure). Should I try Blender 3.1 out to see if they’re compatible or is it too early?
