Loved the animation, so much so in fact that I wrote a list of differences between scenes, there are many more small tidbits of changes, but these were the ones I felt were way more noticeable, lemme know if I missed anything!

First Run:

  • First Scene: One cup of coffee, 11:05am, dishes unclean
  • Second Scene: Woman crying, man comforting her
  • Third Scene: Man angry
  • Cemetary Scene: Both Crying
  • SkatePark Scene: Couple Kissing, Teacup kid lying on floor, 8 people waiting for ride

Second Run:

  • First Scene: 4 cups of coffee, 13:30pm, dishes piling
  • Second Scene: Woman crying, man sitting further away from her, not comforting her
  • Third Scene: Both angry
  • Cemetary Scene: Both Crying
  • SkatePark Scene: Woman drinking coffee, man waiting. Both Kids on the floor, 4 people waiting for ride

Third Run:

  • First Scene: 11 cups of coffee, 14:37pm, dishes piled
  • Second Scene: Woman crying alone
  • Third Scene: Woman angry
  • Cemetary Scene: Man Crying, Woman Crying on floor
  • SkatePark Scene: Woman doing ollies, man watching, Dome kid lying on floor, Skating accident in front of Suzanne, 1 person waiting for ride, person lying or fallen?

Last Scene: 21 Cups of coffee, give or take, 1:30am

Overall, no clear pattern between all of them, I'm guessing she's just revisiting these memories and seeing them differently each time... trying to understand who was to blame or where did it all go wrong.

Great animation! Well worth the wait!

* @roymendezcastro * Verge3D does what you want, interactable geometry, in the browser

Love the look of the white FX, they look a lot like Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse! Is there a breakdown of how they were done?

I really like the style. Will you upload a breakdown on your Blender Animation Studios Youtube channel?

Congrats on coffee run! It's so good it got me to subscribe to blender cloud :). I have one question this week, is there any development happening for dynamic GI in Eevee? I feel like it's the last thing needed to make it production ready

* @slemmon * If you want to know what's on the Eevee roadmap, look at the Eevee and Viewport module task linked from developer.blender.org developer.blender.org/T64282

You'll see there are lots of things to do but no targets for specific release of blender, so it will take time

Great jobs guys! Are you planning to make tutorials about the rigging? Specially for Rain character :)

*** UE V: Nanite/Lumen and Eevee

Here is the tech demo in realtime of Unreal Engine V on PS5:

Unreal Engine V

The main modules of this engine are Lumen, that can manage dynamic global illumination, and Nanite, able to visualize bilions of poligons:

  • no texture baking
  • no need to optimize mesh
  • any LOD setup is needed
  • no need to worry abut polycount, sculpted models can be imported without any optimization (a part for rigging..)

Considering that it is all based on a tech demo (in history tech demos have always been slighty different from the reality), what can be the future of Eevee (maybe even biased engine could be reconsidered)? Were you aware about the development of those revolutionary features?

Since Epic is your partner could be possible to take advantage of this technology inside Blender?

parkeramitrakshar Author

* @Mille Porte * Well They do decrease the polycount in the Mesh, If you Saw the Extended 10 Minute Cut, They told that there.... But They told that, They do it Losslessly.... Like From Billions to around 20 Millions.....

I think at someday, at some time, Blender will have these kinda Features too... Happy Blending!!!❤️
