Life Bridge

Hey you know those long blocks of text that look like it’d be boring but end up being a really good read? Yeah, this is one of those.

First, I’d like to respectfully ask that you read through the entirety of this text, becasue this is not a job that pays... yet. For most of you, you’ll stop here. But for those of you who have ambition and the talent to bring an amazing idea to life, I encourage you to keep reading. As stated above, this job does not pay. But will in the future.

Since 2012 my team and I have been developing a webseries for Youtube. Its not widely known. At all. The knowledge of its existance remains within a relatively small group of people; locally at HQ and with family across the country.

The name of the project is being kept under wraps for security and pre-copyright purposes so for now we’ll just call it Life Bridge.

As of two years ago this past January, my graphic designer and I took to teaching ourselves how to use 3D modeling programs (we chose Blender) so we can transition into starting on production. Two year later and we’re ready to go, we just need more of a team to split the work load, keep ideas fresh and complete Life Bridge with accuracy and quality. This is where you and your talent come in.

Time is NOT of the essence. This isn’t a project that needs to be done in particular time frame, per say. But the preferred release date for Season 1 is December 15th, 2019. Reason for the lack of an official time frame: we want Life Bridge to be as perfect as possible, but mistakes are unavoidable.

Speaking of seasons, this is where it might get intimidating for you, the 3D modeler. Because It’s 11 seasons long. This means if you plan on being a part of Life Bridge, you need to eventually be be 110% committed. But not right away of course. Everyone has their daily lives and I respect that. Though I challenge everyone who reads this to stand up to the task.

As for the volunteer job description: We need 3D modelers. Simple as that. For characters. Terrain. Weapons(guns, swords, knives, cannons, pirate ships). We need someone who can take 3 animals, physical qualities of those animals, and mash them together into one, horrific looking beast. We need someone who knows interior and exterior design for indoor scenes or scenes outside of a building. Anything anyone can bring to the table is accepted. No talent will be left unturned.

Overall, Life Bridge has been a passion project for 7 years now. It’s been my dream since I was 17 to bring it to life and as it’s overseer I personally thank you for reading this far and I hope to hear from each and every one of you very soon.
