Beguinner stuff

I cant find the Draw tool in the tool box, it just does not appear, what am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help. Cheers Luis

Hello. Are you referring to the Annotate tool or to the Draw Tool from Grease Pencil?

Annotate is under Transform icon on the Tools Panel (the 7th fro the top, assuming there is no other custom arrangement).

For Draw tool in Grease Pencil you, like stated in the comments, should be in Draw Mode. With your Grease Pencil object selected either switch using CTRL - TAB - select Draw Mode (assuming there are no custom keyboard shortcuts assigned) or from the Drop-Down menu found on top left corner where it says Object Mode - you pick Draw Mode - and you will have access to Draw.

Thank you for your time and effort. It all sounds so easy but when I go to the top left corner into the mode changer there are only object, edit and sculpt mode...no draw mode to choose from...

If you Add - Grease Pencil - Blank and then use the mode changer, are you still not seeing the Draw Mode? I am not sure how to help if I can't see what you are trying to achieve.

You have to be in draw mode

  • Which mode are you in?
  • Which type of object selected?
  • Which version of Blender?

A screenshot would make it easier to help.
