Unreal-style Right Mouse Navigation Add-On

Hi everybody! I posted this on Reddit yesterday, and thought there might be a few here who might like it, too. This addon enables UE4 style Right Mouse Navigation and Context Menus.

Hold Right Mouse to Navigate the scene, Click Right Mouse to call a context menu.

Mouse Wheel will speed you up/down while Right Mouse is held.

The addon works with any Keymap - Blender's Default, Industry Standard or Custom.

!!! - NOTE - !!!: It's a single file addon, so you need to install UnrealRightClick.py in Blender, and NOT UnrealRightClick-master.zip! Just unzip, and install the .py file after downloading.

FAQ:

Why did you do this?

I made an app template called Blunder, to port some Unreal features/workflows into Blender. The most common request was for Right Mouse Navigation. The second most common request was Right Mouse Navigation without all the other template stuff, haha.

For any followers of the Blunder template, it's getting renamed and updated shortly, with this addon, and a brand new keymap and layout.

Isn't this already in Blender?

Yes, it's called Walk Navigation, and it can be turned on via Shift + `

So why do you need an addon for this?

If you map Walk Navigation to the Right Mouse button, you lose the ability to call context menus with Right Click alone. And, if you're using Right Mouse for Nav and Context Menus, you need some way to differentiate between when you want a menu, and when you want to zip around the screen, hence a little python logic. Also, some modes in Blender call context menus, while others call context panels, so additional logic is necessary to ensure that the correct type is called.

Alright, well that sounds pretty reasonable, what else do I need to know?

I've tested it so far with 2.83, 2.90 and 2.90.1, and it works with all of them, though 2.83 will throw a 'made for a later version of Blender' error on registration.

I believe I've got all the kinks worked out with the keymap registration and unregistration, but that was the part I was least sure about, so maybe test it first on a keymap you don't use, or duplicate your existing keymap before installing.

There are a couple of hacky things in there, I used the old "try to edit the default keymap on startup - failed - set a timer - try again" trick to edit the Modal Walk keymap, and I used Ctypes to fake a Right Mouse Release which calls from the windll, so this will only works on Windows.

Hey, what else you got?
