OG 3D software user. Noob Blender user: Trying trying trying again again . Ripping out hair

( I pre-apologize for the following rant) Hi not sure if this is the correct forum , but as an experienced 3D user from other platforms, it's really frustrating as an experienced modeller to use Blender. The 3d cursor as a default doesn't make sense and feels unnecessary. Why make a moveable pivot front and centre when it is rarely used. It's like putting reverse as your first and main gear on a car. To have to recenter the Origin on every new mesh or model is incredibly time consuming and frustrating. Also, modelling tools need to be more streamlined. There are so many unexpected results that happen during the modelling process, that simply doesn't happen in most other software.

Eg. Why can't I move geo in object mode? Only the cursor? It seems I can only move meshes upon entering Edit mode and selecting all the Vertices. Every other software, upon deselecting objects, one can select new objects (and move/translate) without having to enter another Mode eg. Object mode.

Why is that even a thing, to enter Object and edit mode?? So unnecessary as an extra step. Having to repeat that hundreds, upon hundreds of times during a session doesn't make sense.

Why aren't object coordinates for meshes embedded or part of the geo? Every other software has Translate, Scale, Rotation fields always accessible and visible. In Xsi those fields showed in Real time in the right side bar at all times. Eg. if I rotated or scaled Geo I would always know by how much. Like a running total.

In all honestly, XSI was the most reliable and intuitive modelling software. I wish Blender Devs could have used and learned modelling and UI functionality from that before Autodesk killed it.

(Again I apologize, the frustration of trying learn Blender over a long time and dropping over and over it has taken its toll.)
