How do you copy multiple textures in Blender?

OK, I imported a human figure and applied multiple texture zones (18 in all) to have different levels of detail, bump and specularity. Figure looks great, but now I want to be able to copy ALL 18 materials from that figure to another figure without having to do it one zone at a time. The other figures will have essentially the same geometry, vertex count and vertex order so should map identically, I just can't find any instructions on moving multiple materials as a group. Other software has the option to create material collections for a mesh (like Poser's MC6 files). I'm looking for Blender's equivalent...
