Just another starship

Here is a little something I started at the beginning of 2.8 Alpha. I wanted to do something big - millions of faces, dozens of collections, lots of modifiers and really focus on non destructive editing to break blender and work the heck out of it.

I am amazed, really amazed, how 2.8 has come along, and just how amazingly stable it has been.

The future looks bright.

Also.... I love the splash screen for 2.8, it is really fitting and displays the spirit of what 2.8, and Blender is all about.

And thanks to Richard Traynor for his great collection of sifi world textures called TrueSpace. I found him on Blender Market and used one of the world textures to light this scene
