There should be a beginners/help section on blender.community
Twitter doesn't let you write long enough messages to give in depth answers.
The reddit community isn't as active as I hoped it would be.
Every Stack Exchange based community I've interacted with has stupid rules that make it hard for beginners to get started posting content. (I've been writing html/css/js/sql/php/bash for a decade and can't be bothered to actually post anything on any stackexchange/stackoverflow website because of strict rules about how the question must be formed or how closely it fits the official topic).
Searching #blender3d on DeviantArt finds too much porn and you can't sort the results by recent or popular.
The majority of blender related community activity should exist on a platform controlled by the Blender organization IMO.
