Blender for old Nokia phones (Blendersito)
Hello, I'm working on a version of Blender for old phones, focusing on the Nokia N95. Why that Nokia? Because it was one of the first to have dedicated graphics acceleration. I post updates on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Despite these phones being on par with, and in some cases surpassing, the Silicon Graphics machines used for movies like Terminator 2 or Jurassic Park, no software demonstrated their power. In terms of games, N-Gage 2.0 games looked like PlayStation 1 games (they were designed for all Nokia S60v3 phones, most of which didn't have graphics acceleration and barely had 64MB of RAM, that's the reason). When phones like the N95 had power similar to the PlayStation 2 and Sega Dreamcast. Currently, you can import models, edit their materials (diffuse, specular, emission, transparency, etc.), link objects and materials, and use a basic 3D mesh editor. I'm currently working on hierarchies to parent objects, animations, lighting, and rendering. I'm close to being able to render image sequences. What do you think of the project? I'll leave some screenshots and videos (some are more recent than others).
