still some doubts about view layers

good morning guys!

I'm sharing this video where I explain my concern about the new view layers. I watched yesterdays's BlenderToday video where Pablo speaks about Robert's Render layer concern. Still I believe there's something missing and that's why I recorded this.

I apologize in case it has already been explain but I coudn't find any info about it.
