100% GPU real-time simulation PHENIX

Hey everyone πŸ‘‹

Quick update after a long period of silence β€” I’ve basically been in full submarine mode for almost 6 months. The reason is simple: I had a huge mountain to climb.

πŸ‘‰ Phenix has been completely rewritten. Not a light refactor. Not a partial optimization.

I rebuilt the entire architecture to move from a CPU-based system to a 100% GPU real-time simulation.

As of today: β€’ the filter system β€’ collisions β€’ custom attributes β€’ the core simulation logic

πŸ‘‰ everything runs on the GPU, in real time.

This was a major technical milestone (especially as a solo dev), and a long-standing blocker for the future of Phenix. Now that this foundation is solid, the nature of the work changes completely:

➑️ stabilization ➑️ polish ➑️ UX improvements ➑️ making Phenix smoother, more predictable, and more pleasant to use day-to-day

Concretely: a new update is finally within reach. And this time, it’s built on foundations that will scale long-term.

So yeah… πŸŽ‰ this is worth celebrating πŸŽ‰ superhivemarket.com/products/phenix-

Thanks to everyone who stayed patient, and to those still using Phenix despite the silence. More concrete things coming soon.
