Any way to have motion blur on imported "Image as Plane"?
I'm using the "Image as Plane" add-on as well as github.com/g3ntile/eevee_motion_blur but so far I can't get any motion blur on an animated image in a 2D composition. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Hi, I looked quickly at the script source of the eevee_motion_blur.py and it seem to render multiple subframes to create a single frame with motion blur. (Interesting by the way). If it's working; It should work. Are you sure the script is activated or is working?
The other way around this problem would be to use CYCLES instead to render your frames, but would take much longer.
* @Christian Clavet * if the addon is interpolating motion to composite a blurrry frame from many frames then it won't help a previously animated movie, as the frames for that movie are fixed (baked if you like). So Blender cannot interpolate extra frames. To do that you would need Optical Flow technology. Blender doesn't have that library.
* @David McSween * You are right. It wont generate extra frames on pre-rendered stuff if there is an animation playing as texture in the image plane.
You would need extra software to do that separately. Like using neural networks to upscale the frame rate. Like in this video (1910 film boosted to 60FPS at 4K!):
Even in real life, if you had a TV wall showing a 2FPS animation, it would still be a 2FPS animation.
