Mathematical Mesh Add on (free)
I created this add on and later realized of the existence of the "math functions add on". My implementation has some differences that might come handy for example * spherical harmonics *. Also, it permits the use of low poly math functions that can be used as primitives for new shapes.

(update) Added default functions, including the ones in the image.
* @julianmelendez447 * Thank you; it is super nice ! I'm super happy with the result of the shell and the ability to "play" with it. The Klein bottle is seriously mind boggling, I had no clue it was from a mathematical function : this is so interesting.
* @frederictexier * Yeah the klein bottle is a non orientable surface, thats why blender has issues when the shade is in smooth since it gets confused on what faces are in the inside and on the outside.
* @julianmelendez447 * yeah, like a moebius ring of sort, just more complicated :) ! It is fascinating I think.
Nice addon, I've been having fun with it last night. I'm wondering what formula is to be used for the blue marble on the left of your picture ?
Also here are a few I made yesterday and I screenshoted the formula for people who want to get started :) !
* @frederictexier * I am glad is working well. I been getting some request on adding default formulas, I'll be working on that today. For now try this:
X = tsin(t)cos(p), Y = tcos(t)cos(p), Z = tsin(p)
Great images, advice try to increase the grid subdivisions to something like 60 the program will use more points to calculate the surface. For some cases this is needed to see the entire plot. However, this increases poligon count so be aware especially with subdiv modifier also if you have divergences they will be more obvious with a larger grid.
* @julianmelendez447 * Ha sweet ! Yes a list of default formulas would be awesome, thank you so much !
