Try it out! I have worked with Verge3D for quite a while and it's amazing how versatile it is and this new release even supports screen based reflections. It is more than just an addon it's a complete framework for making interactive web applications or even games.

There was a bug report on the addon. Using this version of verge 3d, and selecting the 2D Animation layout mode on Blender 2.8, will automatically remove "CYCLES" render option from the render menu. Just so you know.
