Would love it if there was an option to close a path by ending it by clicking on the start like in Illustrator.
Would also love it if their was an option in the settings to have paths set to fill by default.

* About the second point: I have added an option to copy properties from an existing curve (

I am not sure if I understand the first one. Is there a demo somewhere of closing path in Illustrator?

* Sure, please see the link below. I have set the video to start just as the example of closing the path by clicking on the start of the path begins. Hope this is helpful.

You can close the curve in two ways in Flexi Draw. 1) Snap to the starting point (default hot key ALT) and complete the curve either by double clicking that point or clicking it and pressing space / enter 2) Press SHIFT + SPACE at the end-point to auto-close the curve.
For creating multiple curves with a fill using Flexi Draw, maybe you can create a template 2d curve first with the material you need and then select this curve in the Copy Object Properties option (please refer to the video on copy properties mentioned above). After this, all the subsequent curves you create will have the properties (including fill material) of the template curve.
Or are you looking for some thing else?

* Oh, lol it basically already does what I want. Thanks for the clarification. Shift Space works fine. Also copy object properties is amazing. As always thank you!
