Hi Pablo!
I've been following you since episode 112 !
I'd like to contribute by purchasing merchandise and wear the Blender logo, but none of the items really attracts me.
So I'm wondering if a broader variety of items could attract more supporters; maybe a "Call for Content" might work?
I'm pretty sure that many artists would be keen to join the call.
Thank you, great show!

Hi Pablo. What is the Update to AMD GPU support on Linux ? .. There has been no support for two versions now.

Hey Pablo, I've been meaning to ask this for long time.
Do you have any idea when edge groups are coming to blender? I just remember vaguely you saying that it will be implemented after geometry nodes. It's such a useful feature for beveling/hardsurface workflow.
You're the best Pablo. 🎉 Congratulation on 180th livestream soon 200!

Hey Pablo, any updates regarding Collection support for the asset browser? Coming in 3.1 perhaps?

Hi Pablo !
So glad to have you back.
The ArmorPaint project is making progress ! (
armorpaint.org/
). Will there be any redudancy with the upcoming work on the texture painting ?
I saw recently the the Cycles module is hiring some help. Any progress on this ? Any chance Brecht will share a roadmap for the coming months ?
The snapping improvment task has been up for a while (
developer.blender.org/T73993
). Have you hear anything about who might take on the project ?
Thank you !!

hey pablo
just wondering, why is "import images as planes" still an addon that needs to be activated and is not basic blender functionality. I use this a lot and hardly use all the other native blender image options in the shift+A menu. I wondered this when I first needed the function and just accepted it is this way.
And I convinced a friend to use blender for something he wanted to do with resolve and he again needed only Import images as planes and he too had to activate that. There is an image texture native to both shader- and geometrynodes, why is the option to add images as planes not native to blender?
It is basically another useless hurdle for new users that could be avoided and lead to smoother user experience.

oi, pablo!
any news on everything nodes? It's sort of evaded your streams for a bit! (maybe I just had withdrawals from not seeing your streams for a couple weeks) but any updates or knowledge on current planes would be great! Something I'm really curious about, is how, in node setups, operators will work. Will they be essentially be what exists in the properties menu? will they be split into separate groups of nodes, such as spawn particles/particle physics, or are points going to be merged with particles? aaaa so much to consider! (also we've always needed a particle interpolate function- like the hair one but normal particles- feature parity ahoy!)
as well, I've been having a lot of trouble with the newer volume sim. it's REALLY susceptible to artifacts (even just a sphere of smoke and a force in the middle will only push them along the 6 primary directions.) maybe a particle-based workflow would do better? (you could easily merge it and have it interact with hard bodies and fluids.)
also, now that we have point clouds... it's about time we have a particle system that can produce them and more tools to work on them! (or should we treat them like particles?)
the image redesign is looking good, and hopefully it will lead to more work on the texture/2D viewer and associated workflows! I'm still trying to think out what might be good for a baking workflow- perhaps an editor mode? I didn't think about that before.

Hi Pablo, hope you’re doing well! Is GPU support for pre-Silicon Mac machines coming any time soon? I tried 3.2 on a couple Macs and Blender still doesn’t recognize the GPU. Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB / NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M. We’ve been waiting for sooooo long! 😅

Hola pablo,
Thanks for adding all links in youtube description, it's better that way !
Hola Pablo! So glad to see you back once a week with Blender news!
Do you by any chance know if Nathan Craddock will ever come back to work on the Outliner? His work of polishing was amazing, but there are still some missing features that make the workflow slower:
1-Selecting a parent should also select its children; 2-Moving a parent from one collection to another should automatically move also its children; 3-Duplicate objects and multiple selected objects; 4-duplicate multiple selected collections; 5-duplicate parent and its children without having to select also its children.
With large trees of nodes, all these missing features, especially when it comes to moving between different collections, becomes tedious. Hope that if not Nathan someone will eventually take care of it.
