Still no Offset Animation ?!

Ola Pablo, first off I would like to say, great place you got here! I really enjoy you're round ups. I've been searching for a way to offset animations for ages now and can't seem to find a good simple way. I would like to be able to offset animations for a crowd scene or road scene. I know about commotion but am looking for a Geo Nodes type of solution. Please help ..

Thanks Jonathan

Also for rigs, the nla editor allows you to reuse animations offset and retime etc. Really powerful but not too many tutorials on it for anything of significant animation complexity. A bit of a learning curve though.

oops, just saw you wanted a geo nodes solution - that would be nice. But for motion graphics purposes the animbox would do the trick.

Try the animbox motion design addon (free) from Valangdance. You can find it here. valangdance.gumroad.com/l/sjUlh

Hi lendoublet, thanks for your reply. Animbox looks interesting, but I can't see how that would help in a crowd scene with 600-1000 rigs. I would like to break up 6 or 7 dance moves and then offset the timings randomly, making things look a lot more natural. I could do it in Softimage, in ICE very easily and was hoping for a simple solution in Blender.
