Does anyone know why the official 2.79b download link doesn't get updated to a later build?

I want to take advantage of the latest bug fixes in 2.79b daily builds, but I'm not able to use anything other than the official production build because my clients will only use the official builds.

Does anyone know if Blender will ever replace the official version with a more up to date build? Or are there no daily builds which are considered production ready? The current production version is over a year old I believe.
