Modifier groups to toggle multiple modifiers all at once
Good day dear Devs and Blender fans,
My modeling process often involves multiple boolean operators. Like, a lot. And sometimes I need to quickly switch them on and of all at once. This can be very time consuming with 10, 20 or 50 modifiers, and I often can’t join the boolean object into one.
I therefore suggest Groupable Modifiers to be added to Blender.
Building on the idea, the whole group could then be toggled for renders, but untoggled in the viewport. Very useful if you need multiple holes, for example, but don't need to see them while working on the scene.
This is basically how collections are working right now. Why not for mods, too?
I think this could also make sense in other workflows. If you need to quickly reposition your object but have multiple modifiers which change the topology, and it is therefore slow. Turning them all off at once, instead of clicking them one-by-one, would be a huge time-saver.
(main idea is a duplicate from devtalk , but I thought it made sense to be posted here, as well)
Greetings

This built in addon does part of what you are asking.
* @sudoblenux * thank you! Even if it seems to me that this is toggling all modifiers, it goes into the right direction.
