Local view not including hidden objects
When I have two objects, one is hidden, the eye icon is off/shut, the other one is visible. I select both and use local view command and then try to make the hidden object visible, I can do that but it is not included in my local view even though I had it selected.
Make the local view not ignore hidden objects. Keep the hidden objects hidden, don’t change their visibility state but just include all selected objects in the local view.

I just need the ability to add an object selected in the outliner into the current local view. alt+m should remove objects from local view and m should add objects.
It's something like case that touching layers and option to manage object properties as multiple layer effect to manage (in which layers show, where not -in case You must manage in each layer repeated way). I touching this problem many times no only around view, this same with other restriction toggles btns.
Problem in way Blender works :) Local view do something like moving selected objects to new temporary view layer. Hidden objects in Blender can't be selected "as object". What you select it in outliner - you select not actually objects but "outliner item", if you unhide selected in outliner objects it will be not selected in viewport... ¯\ _ (ツ)_/¯
So if you had some objects selected in outliner and some of then were hidden when entering local view - you can't just unhide them it in local view. What happened is your visible objects were selected "as objects"/moved to local view, your hidden objects were not selected "as objects"/not moved to local view.
Here older "Add objects to local view" suggetion. But to be honest - in most of cases it is not so big deal to quit local view, add to selection needed object and go back to local view.
Thanks for the thorough explanation! :) I mean I understand that Blender works differently but that shouldn't be an excuse for not doing it, right?
Theoretically it should be possible that Blender behaves as it does right now, except that the local view works as I have written in the post
