Save selected (Saves selected assets to separate Blender file)

Now I use Blender and 3ds Max together again and I had to realize how useful the 'Save selected' command is in Max.

What it does? Saves all the selected stuff to a new file.

Why is it useful?

Don't have to mess with Grouping and Appending many objects we need in another file or with hunting the needed object among the thousands of objects we use in a scene.

In Blender, to save 'selected stuff' to another .blend file: Control C, copy to buffer, Control V to paste. I just found this after looking for it for 2 days.

Thanks for the tip!

Le doy un voto! A veces se trabajan archivos con varios objetos por cuestiones de escalas luces y otras cosas, y es necesario exportar solo un objeto. Sería interesante una manera sencilla de hacerlo.

yeah and also is great because you can get a clean scene out of that.
