Move 3D Viewport while selecting an object with pipette
When selecting an object with the pipette (Boolean modifier for example), we can't move/rotate the 3D Viewport. The following doesn't work while the pipette is active:
- Middle mouse wheel click (to rotate view)
- Shift + Middle mouse wheel click (to translate the view up/down/left/right)
Enabling 3D Viewport access while the pipette is active would allow more freedom (and less clicking!) whenever an object's view is obstructed and user needs to move the 3D Viewport.
Thank you!

The case is like this: Rotate Viewport by MMB when tool is active and other
* @ManBlender * I think it's a child functionality to that?
Some tools might need input focus, while other can manipulate the 3D Viewport without issues while active (like the pipette). I think it requires a per tool implementation?
There are currently discrepencies with tools and MMB - when using Box Select (B), MMB will make an empty selection for example, instead of cancelling or manipulating the 3D Viewport.
Thanks!
Should I delete this post or we wait until the issue at hand is clarified through discussions?
* @Sirus Dark * Areyou using sketchup sometimes and missing this? : )
Not sure about Box Select, but maybe we not need the have pushed button for this, just click to reach start point, then MMB can operate on 3d and after right perspective push again to close box selection.
Not sure that exist other conflicts. Eg. MMB doing axes guides, but can be activated with shift maybe?
* @Sirus Dark * Leave, maybe other user can understand the requiments and situation around.
It is eye-dropper not pipette.
