Bake Vertex Colors
In Blender 2.79 is a nice feature in the Blender Render that allows Baking from Vertex Colors to a Texture of a lowres Object. This is very useful for retexture retopos from scans. Is there a workaround for that in 2.83? Because I can't see it in cycles or evee yet.

* @Josephbburg * And no, there's no workaround except to do the baking in an older Blender. The baking code for Cycles is completely different than BI and a lot of it has been re-written since then. Now the good news is that it's much more flexible and allows Blender to ask for any arbitrary pass from the render engine, as long as baking is implemented there. The bad news is that it's not a trivial problem to solve -- how to handle objects with constructive modifiers?
